Don,
I want to thank you, and your crew, for the simply AWESOME job on the engine for my 1945 Piper L-4J. Unlike the tired C-65 it had, or even a "regular" C-85, I never have to question if I will have power to go, when I push the throttle open. My L-4 always starts on the first, or second blade. Then, when you get to
the end of the runway and open it up, in two lengths ... it's airborne!
My L-4 was a sad sight to see when we started the restoration. Putting your engine on it has really completed the package, and makes it fly like a dream. It doesn't want to be sitting on the ground, it wants to fly! Everyone that watches it fly, wants to fly it ... and after they fly it, they want my engine! I always find myself
grinning when I tell them to call you, and get one of their own.
Thanks again, and keep up the excellent work!
Blue Skies!

"Dear Don,
I have found myself, on several occasions, saying; "my little airplane flys like a dream." then I remember the name of your company; Don's Dream Machines. N99924 is my "dream machine". You have helped me and Calvin to make it my "dream machine". My dream of owning and flying my ownairplane as come true. Thanks so much for your extra effort and wonderful aviation spirit that took you the extra mile in your service to me.
My little "Coupe" feels so powerful on take-off, even at this altitude. Many people have asked about its performance. They have never seen an Ercoupe take-off with that rate of climb and such a high nose up deck angle. One day at Provo, Utah I had 13 knot head wind on take-off with a density altitude of 6000 feet. I was able to climb to 1000 feet AGL before getting to the end of an 8,500 foot runway. That is great!! In addition, I took her up to 13.500 feet once.
Also, I'm so pleased you strongly recommended putting the light weight powerful starter on the engine. It turns my engine over so quickly and it starts within two revolutions every time.
I have about 50 hours on the engine now and it runs very clean. There are NO leaks. Thanks so very much. I feel very secure flying in the mountains of Utah.
Thanks again Don for my cute little "Coupe". It truly is my "Dream Machine".
Sincerely,
L. Michael Falgoust
